Touch me, Text me...seems to be the new mantra this year with the top brands focusing on these catagories which are highly used by the youth. Apparently last year was the first time when more than half of all smartphones sold globally featured touchscreen functionality. As far as the smartphone OS distribution is concerned Symbian is still a convincing leader, selling more than twice as the second best - RIM. Apple comes in third with its iPhone OS here but scores a huge 82.9 percent increase in sales and might just compete for second next year.
the much awaited Ipad will be launching soon and the New Lg-BL40-Chocolate series continue with a rage back again with a lenghty 4.1inch screen size, 5mega pixel camera and pinch zooming, I just happened to get a glance @ this handset yesterday and the experience was amazing, the look and feel of it was good and movie quality looks much better with the lcd finish touch given. This will certainly be in line with the Big boys toys category along with the other Multimedia phones like nokia n5800, n97mini, samsung HD Omnia etcs...
